Bio

Graduada en Bioquímica por la Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (Paraguay, 2015) y Máster en Microbiología Avanzada por la Universidad de Barcelona (2018). Actualmente está finalizando la tesis doctoral sobre la degradación de contaminantes organoclorados en aguas subterráneas por medio de bacterias anaerobias, para lo cual ha recibido una beca de Personal Investigador Predoctoral en Formación (PIF, UAB).

También ha realizado una estancia de investigación predoctoral en el grupo del Dr. Lorenz Adrian en el Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) de Leipzig, Alemania (2021).

Líneas de investigación actuales

  • Evaluación del potencial degradador de compuestos clorados en aguas subterráneas.
  • Cultivo y enriquecimiento de bacterias degradadoras de contaminantes, tanto aerobias como anaerobias.
  • Estudio del metabolismo de bacterias anaerobias degradadoras de compuestos clorados.
  • Investigación de enzimas clave para la degradación de contaminantes clorados.
