Bio

Graduada en Bioquímica (Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, Paraguai, 2015) i Màster en Microbiologia Avançada per la Universitat de Barcelona (2018). Actualment està finalitzant la tesi doctoral sobre la degradació de contaminants organoclorats en aigües subterrànies per bacteris anaerobis, per la qual ha gaudit d’una beca de Personal Investigador Predoctoral en Formació (PIF, UAB).

Ha realitzat una estada de recerca predoc en el grup del Dr. Lorenz Adrian al Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), Alemanya (2021).

Línies de recerca actuals

  • Avaluació del potencial degradador d’aigües subterrànies contaminades amb compostos clorats.
  • Cultiu i enriquiment de bacteris aerobis i anaerobis degradadors de contaminants.
  • Estudi del metabolisme de bacteris anaerobis degradadors de compostos clorats.
  • Investigació d’enzims clau per a la degradació de contaminants clorats.
