Our proposal has obtained the positive evaluation in the call for Strategic Projects Oriented to the Ecological Transition and the Digital Transition of the State Research Agency (Ministry of Science and Innovation, Government of Spain)
The objective of the project is the design and construction of a pilot plant reactor for the pesticides removal from agricultural wastewater generated during the rinse of agricultural machinery and accumulated in ponds on farms in the Baix Empordà (Girona).
The bioreactor will be a rotating drum filled with wood colonized with the fungus Trametes versicolor.
